Background:
MTTP catalyzes the transport of triglyceride, cholesteryl ester, and phospholipid between phospholipid surfaces. MTTP is Anti-MTTP抗体required for the secretion of plasma lipoproteins that contain apolipoprotein B. It is positively regulated by cholesterol and negatively regulated by insulin. Defects in MTP are the cause of abetalipoproteinemia.
