Background:
The enzyme mevalonate Anti-MVD抗体pyrophosphate decarboxylase (MVD) catalyzes the conversion of mevalonate pyrophosphate into isopentenyl pyrophosphate in one of the early steps in cholesterol biosynthesis. It decarboxylates and dehydrates its substrate while hydrolyzing ATP.
